In the context of the courses of the undergraduate programme, educational visits are carried out wherever possible in order to demonstrate the usefulness of the knowledge acquired in the course and the way in which it is applied. In addition, through these visits students come into contact with large-scale transport infrastructure and professionals in the field of transport engineering and discuss issues relevant to their professional careers. Visits take place at the Traffic Management Centre of the Region of Attica, the Traffic Management Centre of Attiki Odos, the Metro depot in Sepolia, the Metro Control Centre in Syntagma and Attiko Metro construction sites.
