Associate Professor
Dr. Konstantinos Kepaptsoglou is an Associate Professor at the School of Rural, Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering, NTUA. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from NTUA (1994-1999), an MSCE in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, USA (1999-2000) and a PhD in Transportation from NTUA (2006-2009). From 2010 to 2012 he was a research associate at the University of West Attica, while since 2007 he has been a professor at the «Engineer Officers’ Technical School (EOTS) ». He has more than 20 years of research and professional experience in design, modeling, operation of transportation systems, and urban transportation systems. He has participated in 40 research and development projects, at national and European level, and in more than 40 consulting projects / studies. His work includes 1 book, 5 book chapters, 67 publications in peer-reviewed journals and more than 120 conference publications. He is an author of the ASCE Journal of Transportation Engineering Part A. In 2011 he was awarded the international ASCE State-of-the-Art Award in Civil Engineering Award for the best research study. During the period 2016-2020 he was President of the Association of Greek Transportation Specialist.
